About Miss Mumford

This is Me!
Who I Am
I have a strong passion for teaching. I am working toward a Bachelor's in Education to become an elementary school teacher. I am dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for young minds. My goal is to foster a love for learning and curiosity through interactive and personalized teaching approaches.
As a Chef for five years, I learned the importance of patience and discipline. I feel these are critical qualities for a teacher to have.
As a builder for three years, I learned to be creative, to think outside the box, and to problem solve. These qualities will help me create an environment of curiosity for learning.
Throughout these adventures, I have been working on my degree to become a teacher.
I started as a Chef. Then I was a builder. Now I have found my true passion: teaching.

(Work Projects)

This is a geodesic dome within a larger geodesic dome. A lot of people helped design and build this, and I was one of the major players in this build. It was as complicated of a build as it looks.

In Tyler Texas, there are these 18 townhomes I helped develop. When these were still in concept, I was building the model home.

This is the finished project of the geodesic dome.
This project is called Sunset Square.
The name is very on the nose.
This is not one I was heavily involved in.
It is just so impressive I had to share it.

This was one of the last major projects I worked on named Cascading Creek. A team and I worked on these for months.

It seems simple but every single ribbon has hand placed buttons that are surprisingly sharp.
